Spider-man 2 is pretty good if you like swinging around and beating the crap out of stuff. It gets a little repetitive, but it's fun. And cheap ($20)
God of War is another really great action game, pretty brutal. This one is really good. I think this one is still $50.
You should probably have a copy of Katamari Damacy. This is one of the best games on the PS2. Again, $20.
