madden and maddening injuries

apparantly there's going to be a special collector's edition of Madden 2005 with a whole bunch of cool features...here's what the article says:

In an announcement that's likely to please football fans all over North America, Electronic Arts confirmed today that it would be releasing a special limited collector's edition of Madden NFL 2005 this August. Meant to act as a celebration of the franchise's 15th anniversary, the special edition will only be available for the PlayStation 2.


Officially known as Madden NFL 2005: Collector's Edition, this exclusive set contains all the same features of the regular version in addition to a slew of bonus content. The extras in question are frankly, pretty damn cool, and are highlighted by playable versions of classic 16-bit Madden titles from the 90s and two more from the PlayStation One era. Other supplemental goodies include a Madden Trivia Challenge with more than a 1000 questions, a Madden Moments feature that allows players to relive great moments from the last 15 years, and historical playoff teams that are also taken from the last 15 years each with their authentic uniforms.

Surprisingly, the list of bonus content doesn't stop there either. As Madden Collector's Edition will also boast tons of bonus video content that covers the history of the Madden franchise, various musical tracks from the game, and an inside look at the production of a Madden title. Apparently there were be a few other bonus goodies as well, but EA hasn't slipped what those might be yet. What the giant company has revealed, however, is the price: $59.95.


cool eh? sweet! but ray lewis is supposedly on the cover which will mean he'll get injured or some shit...argh, damn madden curse! but at least it's not marc bulger or a redskin player! whoohooo...speaking of injuries and curses, it looks like another one of my team's pitchers, Jarod Washburn is hurt, as if more people on that team need to be injured--both the angels and villified which is the name of my team...the secret to our name is that it's a combination of both my birthplace's town's name and my father's (who is the co-manager)...rockVILLe and springFIELD...sure it's mucked up a bit but whatever...and my main man michael moore says he won't say I told ya so
